The following is a two-part interview series for an August 1st, 2017 primary election special section created in collaboration with the Washougal Round Table and RiverTalk Weekly.

The purpose of this collection of digital interviews is to encourage conversations about our candidates and get Washougal residents and business owners interested, wanting to dig further, and involved in the election.

These interviews were:

  • Primary Election Day is Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

  • Election certification (official results released) on August 15, 2017.

  • General Election Day is Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

  • Election certification (official results released) on November 28, 2017.

WRT's Pumpkin Patch

Located at City Hall.

Washougal Round Table is working with the City of Washougal to maintain a pumpkin patch planted by 2nd graders of Gause Elementary. WRT's pumpkin patch features an arbor, solar lights, song bird and hummingbird feeders and all sorts of other fun goodies. We love to help make our community a fun, vibrant, beautiful place to live!

City Council Presentation

On Monday, July 10th, development committee members Susan Warford, Heather Jordan, Wayne Pattison, and Shannon Pratuch shared a presentation with City Council. During their workshop session, WRT provided a status update on the Washougal Conversation Board tactical urbanism project and fielded questions from City Council about the group and their efforts.

Saturday, July 29th - Washougal Conversation Board exhibit in Reflection Plaza, 10 AM to 5 PM, Anytime Fitness & Dayley Dance fitness celebration in the courtyard until 7 PM.
